Malik Curtis scores three more touchdowns in dominant victory

The dominant senior season of Miami Hurricanes 2021 verbal commitment Malik Curtis continued last Friday.

Curtis caught four passes for 115 yards and three touchdowns in Fort Myers-Bishop Verot’s 42-0 shellacking of Naples-Lely. Curtis now has 230 receiving yards and six touchdowns in the past two games for Verot. He has 10 touchdowns in eight games played this season.

Plantation-American Heritage five-star athlete James Williams made a huge play for the Patriots in their 23-17 victory over Fort Lauderdale-Cardinal Gibbons last Friday.

Williams blocked a Cardinal Gibbons field goal attempted and returned it 90 yards for a touchdown.

Elsewhere in Broward County, 2021 wide receiver commitment Jacolby George made his season debut. He had a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown in Plantation’s 55-41 loss to Davie-Western last Friday.

Miami-Columbus and 2021 Hurricane commitments Ryan Rodriguez and Jabari Ishmael won their first game of the season last Friday. Rodriguez started at center for the Explorers and Ishmael made a nice play on this 14-yard loss in the first half.

After a tight victory over rival Miami-Central on October 23, Miami-Northwestern lost in a blowout to the nation’s top team. Bradenton-IMG, ranked No.1 according to MaxPreps, defeated the Bulls, ranked No.6, 49-14.

Miami 2021 wide receiver commitment Romello Brinson made a couple of nice plays for Northwestern.

In Texas, 2021 tight end verbal commitment Elijah Arroyo caught a 23-yard touchdown pass in Frisco (Tx.)-Independence’s 63-7 victory over Denton (Tx.) last Friday. Arroyo now has 344 receiving yards and six touchdowns in four games this season.
