11/7 College football lines and picks

Happy victory Saturday, everyone. That was one heck of a way to start the weekend last night, wasn’t it? Speaking of starts, we started to turn around an abysmal showing last week with a 4-3 mark, our first positive showing in a while. Virginia’s upset of UNC pushed us over the mark, coupled with Arkansas’s late cover against Texas A&M. Let’s see if we can keep the good vibes going this week, as there’s plenty of interesting games to pick from.

PITT +2.5 at Florida State. Wait, PITT is the underdog here?! How? Ok fine, I’ll take their superior defensive front against a horrid Noles offensive line.

OU -38 at Kansas. Kansas hasn’t been able to stop anyone, and OU has been heating up since a slow start to the season. This might cover by halftime.

MICHIGAN -3.5 at Indiana. Call me a believer in “Indiana’s luck finally runs out”. Michigan hasn’t lost to IU since 1987 and is coming in angry.

Florida vs GEORGIA -3. Georgia’s superior defense stymies Florida more than Florida’s defense can slow the Bulldog offense. In short, Florida’s defense costs them again.

MARYLAND +26.5 at Penn State. I know Maryland got their win of the year and are in a position to fall back to earth, but that’s a ton of points, and Taulia Tagovailoa showed last week that he can play.

Tennessee at ARKANSAS +1.5. Tennessee is rudderless on offense without a competent college-level QB (yet again), and Arkansas is playing with a lot of confidence and heart under Sam Pittman with nothing to lose.

Rutgers at OHIO STATE -39. Greg Schiano or not, Rutgers is 50+ points worse than Ohio State, easily. Buckeyes lay the wood and keep pace with the top 4 teams.
