Miami Hurricanes announce start date for Spring Practice, update injury status for several players

Manny Diaz updated the spring schedule at today’s NSD presser, and spoke about some injuries players are dealing with.

At his National Signing Day presser, Miami Hurricanes Head Coach Manny Diaz was asked about the schedule for spring. And in response, Diaz detailed the start date for Spring Practice.

On top of giving the start date for Spring Practice, Diaz updated the status of several players.

Here is the list of players who will miss some if not all of Spring practice with injury recovery:

  • Tirek Austin-Cave
  • Sam Brooks
  • Bubba Bolden
  • Navaughn Donaldson
  • Corey Flagg Jr
  • Don Chaney Jr
  • Bradley Jennings
  • Brevin Jordan
  • Michael Redding III

Yes, that’s a lot of injuries, but you’d rather guys miss spring and get healthy than have this be the injury report in November.

So, Spring Practice starts Saturday, February 29th.
