Not only did the Miami Hurricanes begin their spring practices on Monday, but they also landed a huge commitment in recruiting. 2021 4-star offensive tackle Michael McLaughlin out of Majory Stoneman Douglas (Parkland) give Manny Diaz and the Canes a verbal commitment.

McLaughlin has a huge frame at 6-7 weighing 255 pounds, 247 has him as the nations 22nd ranked offensive tackle in the 2021 class. McLaughlin comes from the same high school as current Hurricanes o-line starter Corey Gaynor.
He is the second offensive lineman to commit for the Hurricanes in the 2021 cycle, joining fellow 4-star prospect guard Laurence Seymore out of Miami Central. \
