While play on the football field has been put on hold with everything happening, recruiting news continues on. On Saturday, 2021 4-star Plantation High School (FL) wide receiver Jacolby George included the Hurricanes in his top six schools that he was going to be focusing on. The other programs were Penn State, UCF, Pitt, Georgia Tech and West Virginia.

George was committed to Miami once upon a time, though he backed off that pledge this past November. However, it seems like the Hurricanes could be the team that lands this talented receiver.
One of many highly-touted South Florida receivers in the 2021 recruiting cycle, George’s speed makes him an incredible threat at WR, and his skill-set would be a perfect fit for Rhett Lashlee’s offense. 247Sports has George listed at 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds.

As a junior, George really flourished for Plantation, hauling in 12 touchdowns, 1,030 receiving yards off of 46 catches. This Fort Lauderdale receiver should be viewed as someone that Manny Diaz and his staff must land.
