Kaden Martin is a 6’0” 200 pound 2022 dual threat prospect currently residing in Knoxville, Tennessee. The son of former Tennessee Volunteer national championship winning quarterback and long-time college coach Tee Martin, Kaden intrinsically has the quarterbacking DNA entwined into his core.

In 2020 as a first time starter, Martin amassed 20 total touchdowns (11 passing 9 rushing) and only threw 4 interceptions on the year. His ability to play poised and beyond his years was on full display during his second start vs. a heated rival.

This is a quick look at a prospect who is starting to pick up national traction and now boasts offers from Miami, Alabama, Arkansas and ACC coastal foe Duke. New offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee has now let a few quarterback offers fly and are we starting to see a commonality among prospects?

In terms of sophomore film I can see the potential Martin possesses. The upside will eventually develop a multi-gabled brilliant roof as he continues to hone his craft. Obviously Martin shows capability within system because you can see that his offense is not your simple rudimentary variety. It is a multiplicative and multi-formational attack minded entity.

I saw some good reads, some good instincts and an ability to show arm variance when needed. This Tennessee south paw is definitely a prospect to circle back on and watch closely. Sure, dad went to Tennessee and he is crystal balled to follow in his father’s footsteps but his future will be his own.
