We all know there aren’t games or practices happening right now due to Coronavirus, but there’s still sports stuff to talk about! On Monday morning, FoxBet.com released props and odds for the 2021 NFL Draft 360 days ahead of that event.

Included in these were a couple standout Miami Hurricanes players: QB D’Eriq King and DE Gregory Rousseau. Here’s the props they were listed under, and their odds for that prop:

2021 NFL Number 1 Draft Pick

  • D’Eriq King 16/1 (Trevor Lawrence the far-away favorite at 1/3)
  • Gregory Rousseau 35/1

First Quarterback Drafted in 2021

  • D’Eriq King 9/1 (again, Lawrence the big time favorite at 1/5)

Is it a long way away from the 2021 NFL Draft? Yes. But, even with it being nearly a full calendar year in advance of that event, having King and Rousseau on the short lists for #1 overall pick, and 1st QB drafted is a good thing.

Miami has struggled to gain traction in terms of the NFL draft in recent years, but having 2 marquee players already in the minds of oddsmakers and draft analysts — and that’s without even mentioning standouts like Brevin Jordan, the best Tight End in America — that will hopefully change for Manny Diaz’s Hurricanes in 2021 and the future.
