Good morning, and happy Friday, y’all. The Miami Hurricanes face off against the Louisville Cardinals tomorrow in prime time. College Gameday will be there. If I recall correctly (which I’m not sure about, but think it’s true), it’s the first time Gameday has been to a Miami game since the 2017 ACC championship game. So, that’s always nice.
And now, on with the news....
In case you don’t use Twitter or just happened to miss it, the Miami and Louisville social media departments have been....interesting, as noted by the Herald.
Although I can’t find it now, I noticed this earlier week that Louisville’s football twitter account made reference to Miami’s unofficial warm up song “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins in a tweet, but featuring their own players and using some different version I haven’t heard of. They later posted a tweet showing their unis for Saturday, with Sebastian’s hat sitting underwater. While not addressing it, Canes Football’s twitter account tweeted out “why not dress up for the occasion?” in announcing Miami’s white-on-white uniform combo for Saturday night.

So, yeah, I love the stormtrooper combos, and hopefully Miami will look slick when putting on a show for a national audience.
