The day has come! The spring semester at the University of Miami is here and yesterday was student move-in day. And that means one thing:
The 2021 Football Early Enrollee recruits are on campus!!
These players have all signed their National Letter of Intent during the Early Signing Period and will have orientation in the coming days. By virtue of the players enrolling at Miami, their collegiate careers have begun.
At Miami, move-in for spring semester was the past few days, classes start Today, January 25th, and the deadline for registration for spring semester is February 2nd. So, if any of the projected early enrollees aren’t on campus now, there’s still a week for them to make their way to Coral Gables.
This group of Early Enrollees — projected to be 11 players — is one of the largest in Miami Hurricanes history. Miami had 14 EEs from the 2019 class including the late addition of Keyshawn Smith to the group on the last day of Spring Registration at Miami, 10 EEs from the 2018 class, and 11 EEs from the 2017 class. In all, more than half of the players committed in this class have moved in and are officially Hurricanes.
And, before you ask, 5-star DT Leonard Taylor (Miami Palmetto HS) was slated to early enroll, but then said on social media that he wasn’t going to EE, then it’s been said and reported that he’ll “be on campus soon”. So, I’m leaving him off this list just because it’s not certain that he’ll be in before the deadline to enroll. But, if he DOES get everything finished and enroll early, I’ll update this piece, and there will probably be a standalone piece for that news as well.
Here are your 2021 Early Enrollees: (note: I’ve linked our Recruit Notebook from early signing day to each player’s name so you read ALLLLLLL about them)

Miami will add their potential QB of the future, several dynamic pass catchers, a talented OL, some rangy defenders, and the soon-to-be starting kicker. All in all, a sold group of Early Enrollees, and all new members of the Canes.
