Week 16 ProCane of the Week: WR/Braxton Berrios - As the New York Jets continue to take over December, a recent ProCane favorite continues to play a large role in the winning streak. Berrios was on the receiving end of a key 43-yard TD reception from fellow slot WR, Jamison Crowder. Berrios ended the day with 3 receptions for 60 yards in the win over the Cleveland Browns, and also handled punt return duties on the afternoon. Berrios has a chance to continue his success in the season finale against his former team, the New England Patriots.

ProCanes Week 16 Highlights:

Another ProCane Jet, TE, Chris Herndon, assisted with the second TD on an 11-yard catch en route to a 4 reception, 34 yard day. One of the most legendary ProCanes, Frank Gore, may have played his last snap in the NFL as he is expected to sit out in the finale. If it is over, what a ride it is been. Also at the TE position, Jimmy Graham continues to be an ageless wonder as he helped the Bears secure a key victory with 4 receptions, for a nice 69 yards, and 2 TDs. Interestingly, Graham’s 8 TDs on the year are the most by a Bears TE since Greg Olsen in 2009.

On the defensive side, Browns EDGE, Olivier Vernon, strung together 5 tackles and 1 sack, as well as 2 QBHits. Chargers LB and impending free agent, Denzel Perryman, also played a pivotal role in LAC’s victory by tallying 7 tackles. Bills Safety and special teams specialist, Jaquan Johnson, actually completed a 13-yard pass to Siran Neal on a 4th down and 5 trick play.

Week 17 Projected ProCane of the Week: RB/Frank Gore - Gore is not expected to play. But if this is his last Sunday in the NFL, wow what a career it’s been. Congratulations for all your accolades Gore, as Frank Gore Jr. continues to make moves in the college circuit.
