The future dual-threat quarterback of the Miami Hurricanes was impressive in his high school team’s big win last Friday night.

Jacurri Brown, Miami’s 2022 quarterback verbal commitment, passed for 99 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown in Valdosta (Ga.) Lowndes 45-38 over Cedar Grove (Ga.).

Brown has now rushed for over 100 yards in three of Lowndes’ seven games this season and has thrown 14 touchdowns and just two interceptions with just under a 54 percent completion percentage.

2022 cornerback verbal commitment Chris Graves scored two touchdowns in Fort Myers Bishop Verot’s 49-26 loss to Ocala Trinity Catholic. Graves had seven receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown and added a short rushing touchdown as well. On defense, he made one tackle and broke up three passes.

In Tennessee, 2022 wide receiver commitment Isaiah Horton scored a 27-yard touchdown on offense and made three tackles on defense in Murfreesboro Oakland’s 27-24 victory over Nashville Christ Presbyterian.

In Texas, 2022 linebacker commitment Justin Medlock made six tackles and broke up a pass in Manvel’s 49-10 win over Angleton.

In Louisiana, Landon Ibieta threw a 25-yard touchdown pass in his team’s 37-21 loss.

Additionally, 2022 safety commitment Markeith Williams released a highlight tape from the first half of his senior season over the weekend via MaxPreps. Some of the clips are quite impressive.
