Stop me if you’ve heard me say this before: another week, another big game for Miami. The Canes are squandering boatloads of talent and a prime opportunity to push for 10+ wins in a season they’ve been targeting for more than 5 years. And, if you’re thinking “this is just what Miami does”, I kind of agree, but the level of failure seen this year is far worse than in previous seasons.
So here we are, with the first ACC Atlantic cross-over opponent of the year, a team Miami barely defeated on the road in a shootout last year, a team that is already 5-1 and 2-0 in the league with a win over Clemson and designs on the ACC Championship.
So yeah, the task ahead of Manny Diaz’s Canes is a tall one. But, if they don’t self-destruct and maybe learn how to tackle, there could be a chance.
We’ll just have to tune in (or come to the stadium and watch in-person) to find out which way it goes.
