The game was close for much of the first half with the Hurricanes pulling out to a seven point lead with 3:45 left in the half before Boston College fought back to cut the deficit to just three at the break.

The second half was even closer and the lead changed four times in the first 10 minutes of the half. Much of the game saw each team stay within one possession of each other with neither team gaining control.

Miami started to gain control with just under ten minutes left in the game. An Anthony Walker and-one and an Isaiah Wong three-pointer gave the Hurricanes their largest lead of the game at nine points with eight minutes left in the half. However, Boston College would fight back as the game entered its’ final moments.

Kam McGusty responded for the Hurricanes with seven straight points to give Miami a 73-68 lead with two minutes left in the game.

Free throws from Anthony Walker and Kam McGusty helped Miami maintain the lead, but Frederick Scott hit a three-pointer to get the Eagles to within one possession of Miami with six seconds left in the game. Fortunately, Isaiah Wong made a free throw on the Hurricanes’ last possession to ensure Miami would end their regular season with a win,
