WATCH THREAD: 2021 NFL Draft First Round

It’s time for the NFL Draft. Which Cane(s) will be taken in tonight’s first round?

NFL: NFL Draft Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the NFL Draft, everyone!

Tonight’s 1st round starts the 2021 Draft, and at least one Miami Hurricane figures to be taken during tonight’s run of selections.

The Canes have 5 players in this year’s draft. Let’s run down the list, and look at the draft profiles for all of the prospects:

EDGE Jaelan Phillips

EDGE Gregory Rousseau

EDGE Quincy Roche

TE Brevin Jordan

K Jose Borregales

Of these players, Phillips seems like a lock to go in the 1st round tonight, with Rousseau also having a chance at coming off the board as well. Roche, Jordan, and Borregales figure to be taken tomorrow, or early Saturday.

This isn’t the biggest number of prospects Miami has ever had in the NFL Draft, but there’s top end quality at every available position. Each of these 5 players has dynamic talent, and will be a big addition to whichever organization drafts them.

Where will Jaelan Phillips land? Will Gregory Rousseau join him in being drafted in the 1st round tonight? Who do you want your favorite team to pick? There’s plenty to watch and discuss tonight.

So vote in the poll (of course I had to put a poll) and hop in the comments and discuss the action as the 1st round of the NFL draft unfolds.
