A speedy receiver with a wealth of talent, Lee was a first team all-area selection following the 2020 HSFB season. Starring both at WR and CB, Lee recorded 47 catches for 1,003 yards and 12 TDs for Buchholz on the year.
In addition to being a standout football player, Lee excels as a track athlete in the spring, and uses that season to continue to hone his speed and improve his already stellar athleticism.
In recent weeks, Lee has whittled his list of schools down. Though he has several official visits coming in future weeks, highlighted by an official visit to Miami the weekend of June 11th, Lee went ahead and committed to the Canes over finalists Coastal Carolina, West Virginia, and UCF from a list of 27 scholarship offers.
Though he is rated only as a 3-star by major recruiting services at present, Lee displays the speed, athleticism, and production of a 4-star blue chip prospect. He’s got room to grow into his 6’0” 175lb frame, but he is a player who figures to see his recruiting profile rise after his previously listed junior season and his electric performances on the 7v7 circuit. Add in some high level performances at recruiting camps like Nike Regionals and Miami’s forthcoming Paradise Camp and Lee should easily see his profile rise.
Lee is the 2nd commitment for Miami’s 2022 recruiting class. He joins Valdosta (GA) Lowndes 4-star QB Jacurri Brown in the group.
