The 32-19 Miami Hurricanes will head back to where their season began to begin their journey at the NCAA Tournament. On Monday afternoon the Hurricanes were selected as the No.2 seed in the Gainesville regional hosted by the Florida Gators.

Miami is joined by host Florida, South Alabama, and South Florida in the regional. South Alabama, who went 33-20 and won the Sun Belt Championship, is who Miami will open the tournament against. Florida, who finished 38-20, and South Florida, who went 28-27 but won the AAC Championship will face off against each other as the other opening matchup in the regional.
If the Hurricanes advanced, they would be paired with the winner of the Austin Regional, hosted by Texas. This sets up as a challenging regional for the Hurricanes, as two conference champions will join Miami in visiting Gainesville.
Miami will begin their Road to Omaha this weekend, with final timing at television schedules released soon.
