The Miami Hurricanes are starting camp with an ominous shadow over the Greentree practice field. It isn’t the beautiful Soffer indoor practice facility, it is the returning national champion Alabama Crimson Tide who are providing the sinister shade.
They are the champs as the Hurricanes start their camp. An 0-1 start is the realistic reality here and in this week’s edition of X’s and Ro, a ton of the questions are centered around the upcoming matchup.
How do the Hurricanes hide the gap at the linebacker position? Who will get the bulk of the carries at running back week one? How will Alabama try to attack the Hurricanes? Who will be an “X factor” besides D’Eriq King when Miami faces the Crimson Tide?
Maxbuk1 from the Obb chat....Who will be the "X factor" besides King in the Bama game? #canes pic.twitter.com/RbvvpDW8en

All great questions this week as we tweak our aim in preparation for the 2021 season. Regardless of how Miami game plans or who Miami puts on the field, the monumental task of dethroning the champs is daunting.
If another Miami miracle were to happen however, it would start with its own King. D’Eriq will be full go and he will need to have the game of his life for Miami to have a chance. Enough talk, let the video mail bag do the rest. Popcorn and pencils. #gocanes #buckfama #clickplay
