The Canes continue to slide after a less than impressive win.

The ACC got one big win over the weekend as Pitt was able to go on the road and knock off Tennessee, but NC St couldn’t do the same. The Wolfpack traveled to Starkville and laid an egg against Mississippi St. Miami struggled but got their 1st win of the season, but fans weren’t pleased with a lackluster effort. Clemson remains the top dog, but there are shakeups all throughout.

1. Clemson (1-1) - Easy win vs South Carolina St, and the Tigers were able to find their running game. Next Game: Georgia Tech

2. Virginia Tech (2-0) - Raheem Blackshear rushed for 2 TDs as the Hokies knocked off MTSU 35-14. Next Game: @ West Virginia

3. Virginia (2-0) - Brennan Armstrong had his 2nd straight big game going for 405 yards and 5 TDs in a 42-14 win over Illinois. Next Game: @ North Carolina

4. Pittsburgh (2-0) - One heck of a road win at Tennessee 41-34. Kenny Pickett threw for 2 scores. Next Game: Western Michigan

5. Boston College (2-0) - BC rolled 45-28 over UMASS. Bigger concern is starting QB Phil Jurkovec could be done for the year with a hand injury. Next Game: @ Temple

6. North Carolina (1-1) - The Tar Heels bounced back 59-17 over Georgia St. Sam Howell ran for 104 yards and threw for 352 in the win. Next Game: Virginia

7. Miami (1-1) - The Canes aren’t a good team right now. They got a late Andy Borregales Field Goal with 2:04 to go in a 25-23 win over App St. Next Game: Michigan St

8. North Carolina St (1-1) - The Pack blew a huge opportunity on the road as their offense struggled in a 24-10 loss to Mississippi St. Next Game: Furman

9. Wake Forest (2-0) - Sam Hartman threw for 244 yards and a score in an easy 41-16 win over Norfolk St. Next Game: FSU

10. Louisville (1-1) - 30-3 win over Eastern Kentucky as Malik Cunningham led the way with 278 yards and 1 score. Next Game: UCF

11. Georgia Tech (1-1) - Geoff Collins got a much needed win 45-17 over Kennesaw St. Jordan Yates looks like he has won the QB job. Next Game: @ Clemson

12. Syracuse (1-1) - What happened to their vaunted offense? They are just not a good team. Lost 17-7 to Rutgers. Next Game: Albany

13. Duke (1-1) - 45-17 over NC A&T. How many more wins are on the schedule? Next Game: Northwestern

14. FSU (0-2) - This is officially rock bottom. The lack of effort on the final play in a loss to Jacksonville St in an indictment on this coaching staff. How long does Norvell get? Next Game: @ Wake Forest

It really is Clemson and everyone else. Virginia is intriguing and has a big test against UNC this week. Miami has not even come close to living up to preseason expectations, but can right the ship vs Michigan St.
