After sitting out his team’s first three games of the season, Miami Hurricanes 2022 cornerback verbal commitment Chris Graves made a big splash in his first action of the 2021 high school football season.

Playing both ways for Fort Myers Bishop Verot, Graves had nine receptions for 185 yards and two touchdowns on offense, including an 80-yard touchdown on the game’s first play.

On defense, Graves added a 7-yard interception return for a touchdown in a 30-16 victory over Port Charlotte.

Graves also blocked a field goal attempt for the Vikings and delivered this monster hit seen below.

Another Hurricanes 2022 cornerback verbal commitment had a great effort in a big game for his high school team. Trequon Fegans had three tackles and three pass breakups in Thompson’s 42-9 victory over Hewitt-Trussville in Alabama. Thompson is ranked No.5 nationally in MaxPreps’ rankings.

The news is not so great for another Miami 2022 cornerback verbal commitment. Khamauri Rogers has unfortunately suffered a knee injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season.

Miami 2022 safety verbal commitment Markeith Williams made a big play on special teams in Orlando Evans’ 35-27 loss to Lake Brantley.

In Tennessee, 2022 wide receiver verbal commitment Isaiah Horton had seven catches for 75 yards and a touchdown in Murfreesboro Oakland’s 49-7 win over Murfreesboro Siegel.

In Texas, 2022 linebacker verbal commitment Justin Medlock made three tackles in Manvel’s 41-6 victory over Perry.

2022 quarterback verbal commitment Jacurri Brown and Valdosta (Ga.) Lowndes were off this week.
