Storm Center, September 4th: It’s Game Day!!!!

Your Miami Hurricanes open the 2021 season this afternoon!

NCAA Football: Central Michigan at Miami Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

For the first time in 2021, it’s a Miami Hurricanes game day!

Here are some things to get your day started the right day as we push towards kickoff at 3:30pm against the defending National Champions: the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Welcome to Atlanta

A big city destination for a neutral-site season opening game? We’ve been there before (shoutout to everyone who came to the SOTU happy hour in Dallas before the LSU game) and we’re there again.

Longtime Atlanta resident, radio personality, and SOTU contributor John Michaels penned this welcome guide for everyone going up to the A for the game. Check it out!

The Only Game Preview You Need

If you didn’t check it out earlier this summer, Jake Marcus wrote an INCREDIBLE 3-part look ahead to the Miami-Alabama season opener. So, it stood to reason that we had him leverage that collection of information to write our Game Preview for this week. It’s comprehensive like you wouldn’t believe. Read it; you’ll thank me later.

Blips on the Radar

Here are just a few other things to get you ready for the opener:

We have a long day ahead. Pace yourselves.

See you all later this afternoon!
