Storm Center, September 7th. One last Alabama review, time to reset expectations?, Recruits ballin’

Let’s start our Tuesday with some Canes

NCAA Football: Alabama at Miami Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Tuesday, everyone. Let’s talk some Canes!

One Last Film Review from The Alabama Game

I know that you watched Roman Marciante’s film review of the opener against Alabama. But, we can’t move on until we have one from Justin Dottavio, as well.

Take a minute or 10 and go through this piece. You’ll learn something, I promise.

New Depth Chart

As per standard, Miami released a new depth chart on Monday. Here it is:

The big change to note here is the change at Right Tackle. Out goes DJ Scaife, in goes Justice Oluwaseun. Miami had much better pass protection when this switch was enacted in the opener against Alabama, so taking that forward, at least for a week, makes sense.

I’m still waiting to see 5-star DT recruit Leonard Taylor get onto the depth chart, and then the field. But other than that, everything else is chalk.

For now.

Readjusting Expectations?

We know that losing isn’t the way we want things to go, but after the season opening loss to Alabama, is it time to reset expectations for the rest of the 2021 season? Craig T. Smith makes the case.

What say you?

Recruits Balllin’

Another week, another great collection of performances by Miami’s 2022 commits. This was led, obviously, by QB commit Jacurri Brown leading Lowndes to a victory over Lake Gibson on Television.

Get the rundown on the rest in the Week 2 Recruit Recap by Carl Bleich.

All Green Everything

Miami announced the jerseys for this weekend’s home opener against Appalachian State. And, if you couldn’t tell by the header for this section what they are, uh.....

Get your green together to show out at the home opener this weekend, everybody! Or compliment that with orange and/or white. Whatever you feel, guys and gals.

That’s it for your early morning recap.

Let’s make it a terrific Tuesday, everybody!
