Walker was down to three schools, but decided against staying in-state and will now head to the Pacific Northwest to play for coach Dana Altman.
Walker will provide the Ducks with length on the court, as he stands at a robust 6’8’’, 200 pounds.
Oregon now is up to seventh in the 247 composite class recruiting ranking, with Walker joining Chandler Lawson, Issac Johnson and Chris Duatre up in Eugene.
Meanwhile, the Hurricanes remain at #42, having signed Isiah Wong and and Anthony Walker in the early signing period.
Miami will look at the possibility at upgrading their recruiting class with the late addition of Vernon Carey, who will announce his top three this week. UM is in the running for the #2 player in the nation along with Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan State and others.
