¿Quien Eres Tu? ¡Florida!

The Gators are in town, the ¿Quien Eres Tu? feature is back, and we're really excited for this game, because it's kind of a big game, even if you heard otherwise.

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

The feature is back! I obviously can't duplicate the great work that our guy, "Aint no lobos" did with this feature, so I'm going to try and make it my own, but also implement some of the things from the old posts.

You can take this as a game preview, or just something to read while you're in class, work or wherever you feel comfortable. There is no predictions just some fun facts, and some weird ones, at that. Or hopefully it can be used as a game day guide

I don't have any Haiku's in my arsenal, so I can't do those like in the old feature, but besides some former Gators alums getting caught for some real crazy stuff, and a lot of their current guys getting injured, the Gators still have a pretty damn good football team, even if we don't want to admit it.

But enough of me, let's get this started.

¿Quien?

Florida Gators

2013 record: 1-0 (0-0 in SEC)

Last meeting: Florida won 26-3 in 2008

The last meeting is still fresh in the minds of Hurricanes fans. Tebow, Hernandez and the defense pretty much, banged and tossed the Canes around and came away with a fairly easy win last time around, considering the Hurricanes couldn't sustain any sort of a drive. This time around, the Gators still have a daunting defense, but the Hurricanes offense is ten times, if not twenty times better than the one in 2008. The Gators have had some injuries to their running back position, but this really makes most of them happy.

So, Matt Jones will be getting some reps against the Canes on Saturday and he automatically boosts that position, even if he's not totally 100%. I don't expect him to go insane against the Hurricanes, but his contribution is much needed for the Gators offense. Another guy that's going to be playing is Antonio Morrison, or "Tank", we all know how much he likes to bark at police dogs, but his suspension has been lifted and he's also a really good football player.

¿Donde?

Gainesville, Florida

Sun Life Stadium is awfully located for a Miami Hurricanes game because it's located pretty far from Coral Gables, and everything else for that matter, but it could be worse, guys. We could all live in Gainesville.

¿Cuando?

12:00 PM EST

TV: ESPN

Yeah, i know what your opinions are towards the 12 o'clock start, and if you're not over the start time a day before kick-off, you might have some problems. The time isn't good because it's going to be hot as hell, and you're going to have to drink beers for breakfast if you're into that type of stuff. But it's almost game day and the Gators are in time, stop crying about the time already.

As far as the national TV broadcast goes, please god, don't give us a repeat of the Notre Dame game.

¿Colors?

Blue and Orange. Or Orange and Blue. Whatever. I honestly wish that I could bash the Gators for their ugly colors and uniforms, but I really like these colors. I'm a Knicks fan and we have the same colors and I can't say anything bad about it. There's some uniform rumors surrounding the Gators, about a black uniform and if those rumors are true, then they haven't heard about how hot it is around Miami at 12 PM.

¿Stadium?

Sun Life Stadium

Miami Gardens, Florida

I don't like Sun Life Stadium, you don't like Sun Life Stadium, but if you want the hard truth, the Orange Bowl is gone and it's time to pack this damn place. It's the Gators and the Canes have a great shot at being relevant again with a good season and a good incoming class (hopefully), so let's pack SLS and be really loud and obnoxious, and then cocky.

¿Food and Nightlife?

Well, considering the fact that I can't get into clubs because I'm only 20, I'm just going to tell you guys to hit up South Beach and enjoy your time there. LIV is always a fun time if you have a couple thousand dollars to blow. Gators fans, just stay in the hotel room.

As food is concerned, if you're staying near the beach and you want a burger and a beer, Beer and Burger Joint is the place to go. If you're staying near Coral Gables and want some pasta, Caffe Italia is my all-time favorite italian restaurant so you can go to that and order the baked tortellini in pink sauce than thank me later.

¿Last Minute Ticket Grab?

The cheapest ticket on StubHub is at 110 dollars, these seats are really high up, but I honestly don't think it matters when you're in the atmosphere expected at the stadium on Saturday. If you wanna sit really close to the action, you're going to have to part ways with 750 dollars.

The game is sold out and there's going to be some Gators in attendance, but let's be clear about something, the Gators aren't the Lakers and they won't outnumber Canes fans on Saturday. I can't promise the same for when the Lakers visit the Heat next season, though.

¿All-Time Record?

The Hurricanes lead the all-time series 28-26 over the Gators. Their fans can ask for some of the Miami wins to be vacated, but reality is that the Canes lead the series and even if they don't want to accept it, we all have these memories.

¿Impact Players?

Well, on offense the Gators just try and grind things out with their running attack and then QB Jeff Driskel tries to beat the defense with his arm, but he can also expect the pocket and rush the ball himself. The Gators offense is pretty boring, but it's effective and they play their style of football. Florida had 248 rushing yards last week against Toledo.

On defense, Florida trots out number two, Defensive Tackle, Dominique Easley. Easley is probably one of the best DT's in the nation and Miami will have to stop him if they want to have success in the rushing and passing games.

Another guy to look for is Vernon Hargreaves III, he was the number one cornerback recruit and the second best recruit in the 2012 class and he already started off his career by getting an interception last weekend against Toledo.

¿You Tube Clip of Glory?

The guys at Alligator Army (Florida's SB Nation website) might be disappointed that the video isn't in "HD" or whatever, but this comeback is great, no matter the definition.  (via canefreak2001)
