Videos: Al Golden, Duke Johnson, Jon Feliciano, Brad Kaaya Post Game

Miami Head Coach and players talk the game, the season, more.

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

First up we have Miami Head Coach Al Golden.

AG was disappointed in the team's execution, but not their fight.

"The kids played hard, but we made some mistakes we couldn't overcome. All the guys mentioned how much they learned from last year and brought it forward (referencing last year's bowl loss to Louisville)."

On Duke Johnson,

"He's a competitor.  I would have just loved to see all of those guys come out with a win (referencing Johnson and the seniors)."

On the season,

"We are what our record is, but in so many ways we are better...We have to improve in all facets, but at the same time I feel so many kids improved, even during the bowl practices."

Golden was also critical of his own decisions, particularly kicking deep at the end of the game, but also highlighted Brad Kaaya as a reason for hope.

Next up Duke Johnson and Jon Feliciano:

Understandably both players were very disappointed and frustrated.

Duke Johnson said he was "fine"  in reference to his ankle.   Both players gave credit to South Carolina.  Neither could offer much in terms of what went wrong during the season ending slide.

Last but not least we have QB Brad Kaaya:

Kaaya pointed out the turnovers as a big factor in the loss.

As for the future,

"I told the young guys I think we have a chance to be really good next year."

Among the players he talked to, Kaaya mentioned Deon Bush, Joe Yearby, and Gus Edwards.

What else did he say?

"Of course it's a loss and we all hate losing. but let's get better."
