Lewis is a former 3 star recruit, who never saw a down of action in Coral Gables.
There was some word this spring that he had made progress in Miami's defensive backfield, but players like Corn Elder, Antonio Crawford, and even Ryan Mayes were ahead of him on the depth chart.
Other than losing a legacy, this isn't huge news.
We wish Ray III the best of luck in his career.
