Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School LB Melvin Keihn (6'3/220) is set to announce his final decision at the Under Armour All-American game next month. He will be choosing from Maryland, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Penn State and Miami.

Of Miami, Keihn said, "I want to make sure I give them a look as well. I mean they are a great school, I like them."

The standout prospect has taken an official visit to all those schools except Miami. He is currently deciding if he will make that visit. If he does end up visiting Coral Gables, it will be this weekend.

"I have not scheduled it yet," Keihn said. "I will definitely find out by Monday if I'm going or not."

Who is recruiting him to Miami? "I talk to coach Paul Williams, he's a nice guy," Keihn said.

The linebacker mentioned that distance would not be too much of a factor, but his family would like him closer to home.

Although, his team lost in the title game, he still enjoyed the season.

"The season went well," Keihn said. "There are people that say that season didn't go well because you didn't win a championship, and I kind of agree with that. But I mean what I learned from my team, my teammates and my coaches, that is what I'm taking to the next level. It was a good season, we went undefeated until we got to the championship."
