In case you missed it, The University of Miami picked up a verbal commitment from 3 star Junior College OL Jahair Jones of ASA College (Brooklyn).
Listed at 6'5 315, Jones is one of the top 75 JUCO players in the country according to most recruiting services.
Jones adds to a very good Class of 2015 O line haul that includes Bar Milo, Hayden Mahoney, Brendan Loftus, and Tyree St Louis.

Check out his highlights below:
So what can we say about young Mr. Jahair upon first impression.
1) Looks like he can play both G and T
2) His technique does not look refined but he explodes into contact, and appears to have a mean streak.
3) Is definitely light on his feet.
4) We have no idea how good the level of competition he faced was at ASA.
Oh and by the way, the young man was a two sport athlete in JUCO.
Check out some of his hoops highlights (#33 in case it's not obvious):
Shorter Reggie Johnson anyone?
We doubt he will be in Coach Larranaga's rotation anytime soon. But the point is, he's a pretty decent athlete.
Next season I would more likely pencil in Kc McDermott, Ereck Flowers (unless he leaves early), Taylor Gadbois, and Trevor Darling at the top of the OT depth chart.
But as 2014 has taught us, you can never have enough depth up front.
